From a hotel laptop or a tablet you open your guac subdomain, log in, and the desktop is there in the tab: the session runs browser to your Cube to your machine, with no third-party relay in the middle and nothing to install on either end.
My PC is behind home or office NAT. How does Guacamole reach it?
The gateway needs a route to the machine. The clean answer is WireGuard from our catalog on the same Cube: your PC keeps an outbound tunnel to the server, no ports opened at home, and Guacamole connects across it. Port forwarding works too if you control the router; the tunnel is the tidier habit.
