- Free Daily Snapshots
- Firewall & IDS
What it is
Nextcloud is your own cloud drive: files, sync clients on every platform, calendars, contacts, and document collaboration, on a server that answers to you instead of a storage quota.
Minimum RAM
2 GB
Fits on SC-2GB; SC-4GB is the comfortable pick with room to stack.
What we install
The playbook deploys the current Nextcloud on PHP 8.3 with a tuned MariaDB, Redis wired for file locking and caching when selected, HTTPS forced, background jobs on real cron, and the setup checks green before handover.
Every plan includes
Instant hostname with TLS, database created and wired, daily snapshots, firewall and IDS. Add Fully Managed anytime and our engineers run the whole server for you.

Why here
Why run Nextcloud on RemarkableCloud.
Your own private VPS
Not a container on a shared box. A real virtual server with dedicated resources and your own IP, and nobody else on it.
Stack apps, one price
Add as many apps as fit on your server from the client area, in one click each. No per-app charge, ever.
A 500% SLA that pays
1 hour down = 5 hours credited back, automatically, from the first minute. While others credit after thresholds, we credit from minute one.
Non-oversold hardware
Enterprise dedicated infrastructure, 100% NVMe, resources never sold twice. Your Nextcloud performs the same on the worst day as the best.
Humans since 2001
Real engineers answer, at any hour. Twenty-five years of running production servers, and no chatbot wall between you and them.
Free migration, done by us
Moving an existing Nextcloud site? We migrate it, verify it, and hand it back running, at no cost. Your old host stays live until you approve.
Built for
What people run on a Nextcloud VPS here.
A private Dropbox for the team
Files, sync clients on every device, sharing links with expiry, on storage you own at flat price.
Client file exchange
Agencies and firms share deliverables through branded, permissioned folders instead of email attachments.
Calendars and contacts off Google
CalDAV and CardDAV serve every phone and desktop client. Your schedule is nobody's ad data.
Office collaboration
Pair with Collabora or OnlyOffice for real-time document editing inside your cloud.
The details
Nextcloud here, in plain words.
What does managed Nextcloud hosting include?
A Nextcloud that passes its own setup checks, kept updated and backed up twice offsite, with monitoring and working email, at flat server pricing. Storage is your NVMe disk, not a metered bucket: the 200 GB on an SC-8GB is simply yours.
How does this compare to Dropbox or Google Drive?
Per-user SaaS pricing becomes one flat server: a team of ten on paid Dropbox tiers usually costs more monthly than the server that replaces it, and the files live under your jurisdiction. Sync clients, sharing links, and mobile apps all work the way the team expects.
Can Nextcloud share the server with other apps?
Yes, and the Self-Hosted Office kit exists for exactly that: Nextcloud for files, Vaultwarden for passwords, WireGuard for private access, one managed server. Redis beside it is the single best performance addition Nextcloud knows.
Will you migrate our existing files?
Yes, free. Existing Nextcloud instances move whole, with users, shares, and versions. Coming from Drive or Dropbox, we stage the transfer server-side so the upload happens on datacenter bandwidth, not your office line.
Everything around Nextcloud, in one honest list.
Everything unmarked ships with every plan. The starred items are optional paid addons, priced plainly, added in the cart or anytime later.
* Optional paid addon: part of Fully Managed or Dual Backups. One price per plan, addons priced plainly, no surprise renewals.
Stack it
Nextcloud runs well with.
Same server, no extra bill. These are the companions our team installs next to Nextcloud most often.
Redis
+1 GBIn-memory cache and queue. The cheapest speed upgrade most stacks never install. Pairs with everything.
Vaultwarden
+1 GBSelf-hosted Bitwarden-compatible password manager. Your vault, your server, our backups.
WireGuard
+1 GBThe modern VPN protocol, deployed with client configs ready to import and the tunnel verified working.
How it works
Seven systems working so you do not.
Every managed server runs the same stack underneath. Pick a system to see what it actually does.
Issues end before you hear about them.
Every minute, we check more than 200 parameters of your server and its services: web server, database, mail, disk, memory, and the network path to it. The moment anything drifts out of range, our support staff is alerted, investigates, and fixes it.
This is internal monitoring, deeper than any public uptime check: it watches the inside of your server, not just whether it answers. Most incidents are found and fixed by our staff before anyone outside ever notices them.
- 200+ parameters checked every minute
- Alerts reach engineers, not ticket queues
- Inside-the-server checks, not just ping
- Humans respond in minutes, any hour

Frequently asked questions
How much RAM does Nextcloud need?
2 GB with its database is a comfortable floor for a small team; add Redis and count 3 GB. Document editing (Collabora/OnlyOffice) is heavier and we size it with you.
How much storage do we get?
The plan's NVMe disk, minus the system: no separate storage bill. Growing means moving up a plan, and in-place upgrades keep your data where it is.
Are files backed up?
Twice offsite, daily, plus snapshots: PBS and S3 destinations. Deleted-yesterday recoveries are a request away.
Do the mobile and desktop sync clients work?
Yes, the official Nextcloud clients on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux all connect to your instance like any other server. Point them at your domain and sign in.
What about storage when files grow?
Your NVMe disk scales with the plan, and Nextcloud's external storage can mount S3 or other backends for cold files. Watch usage from the dashboard and resize ahead of full.
Is this Nextcloud on a VPS or on shared hosting?
A VPS. Nextcloud runs on your own private virtual server with dedicated, non-oversold resources and its own IP. You get real isolation and performance, with the setup, TLS and hardening handled for you.
Can I run other apps on the same server?
Yes. Add any other catalog app to this server from your client area, one click each, no per-app charge. How much fits is a question of RAM, and resizing is minutes.
Do you migrate my existing Nextcloud?
Yes, migration help is free. Open a ticket with access to the current setup and we move it, verify it, and hand it back running. Nothing switches until you approve.
Can I upgrade or downgrade the plan later?
Anytime. Plans resize from the client area in minutes, annual billing keeps its flat 17% discount at every size, and there is never a fee to change tiers.
